About PAL-GHK (Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1)
PAL-GHK is the glycyl-histidyl-lysine tripeptide with a palmitoyl chain attached, best known as one half of the Matrixyl 3000 combination. It is worth being precise about how it relates to GHK-Cu, which is already in this catalog: both share the same GHK core, but GHK-Cu is the copper complex — and much of GHK's documented biology, particularly its antioxidant and wound-signalling activity, is attributed to the copper it carries. PAL-GHK swaps that copper for a fatty-acid tail chosen to improve skin penetration. They are related compounds with meaningfully different properties, not interchangeable versions of the same thing. Evidence specific to PAL-GHK is much thinner than for either GHK-Cu or Matrixyl. It appears in the cosmetic literature mainly as a component of combination products and in general reviews of palmitoylated cosmetic peptides, rather than as the subject of its own controlled trial.
