About Crystagen
Crystagen belongs to the family of short peptide bioregulators developed by Khavinson and colleagues from the 1970s onward, the same tradition as the fifteen bioregulators already in this catalog. Vendor documentation gives it as the tripeptide Glu-Asp-Pro (EDP), with a molecular weight of 359.3 — internally consistent with that sequence — and positions it as an immune bioregulator. The honest assessment is that a literature search on 2026-08-04 found no indexed peer-reviewed study of Crystagen specifically. Related peptides from the same family have been studied: Vilon (Lys-Glu), Thymogen (Glu-Trp), Thymalin and Chonluten were evaluated together for effects on inflammatory and proliferative processes in a monocyte/macrophage cell line, and the family's proposed mechanism involves short peptides binding histones and influencing gene expression.
